註釋Texas erected more than 1,000 historical markers in the 1930s for the 100th Anniversary of her independence from Mexico. The author of this book compiled the inscriptions of all of those historical markers plus a few hundred more. This book contains the inscriptions that appear on more than 1,400 Texas historical markers along with many photographs of Texas historical places. The historical markers are arranged in "travelling order" by highway to make it easy for travellers.
