Stone-Welles-Todd Family Papers
註釋The Stone-Welles-Todd family papers is a collection of correspondence tracing six generations of a Hartford, Connecticut family. Also includes sermons of Rev. Collins Stone, school notebooks of Jane Naomi Strong, annual reports from the American Asylum at Hartford for the Deaf and Dumb, school reunion materials from Yale College and Hartford Female Seminary, and assorted other printed items. One such printed item is the constitution for the Veteran Association of the Hartford City Guard. The collection was obtained in two accessions and the second accession, also family letters, has not been processed. While other correspondents are represented, the majority of the letters were composed by John H. Welles, John I. Welles, Nancy (Hubbard) Welles, Charles Pitkin Welles, Jane Naomi (Strong) Welles, Edward Collins Stone, Mary Catherine (Welles) Stone, Charles T. Stone, Henrietta Ellen (Stone) Todd, Elizabeth "Bessie" Stone, Jane Stone, and Edward C. "Ned" Stone. Terry family correspondence is included as well
