註釋
One of Mexico's most valuable photographic collection is, without a doubt, the one formed by the Casasola family and their staff. The most well-known pictures of this collection are those recording the armed movement of 1910, captured by Agustín Victor and his brother Miguel; work that, even though it is the most famous, perhaps it is not the most relevant. The purpose of this book is to show the Casasola Fund's least renowned by nonetheless important role in making known images of Mexico City in the first decades of the twentieth century. The intention is to recapture the portrait of a capital so representative of the rest of the nation that it is equivalent to recovering a vision of the entire country--David Maawad.
