註釋In this research, it seeks to achieve an approach to identify patterns that have followed the small and medium enterprises Spanish family in the process of involvement and international expansion. Are presented, first, the results of the review of secondary sources, where we analyze the evolution of Spanish SMEs, with emphasis on the family business, its importance within the country's economy and its participation within the projection internationally. Secondly, we present a review of the literature from two different perspectives. In the third section, we present the three-dimensional evolutionary model of the family business, with which it seeks to know whether the process of internationalization of Spanish family SMEs has followed a pattern, and what steps have been assumed from each of the perspectives and what would be the main challenges facing the future.
