Inniskilling Diaries, 1899-1903
註釋The Inniskillings war service has uniquely been captured by surviving diaries of two officers and a private, preserving not only major actions but the daily life of the regiment. The Inniskillings served in the Boer Warr's major battles, on a few occasions trading shots with Irish and Irish-American volunteers serving with the Boers. The diaries trace the Boer War to the bitter end. These experiences later proved valuable to the diarists, all three of whom served with the Inniskillings in World War I.
