註釋David Rösti was born ca. 1555-1560 at Adelrain near Frutigen, Switzerland. He married Barbli Scharen in 1579. They had ten children, 1581-1605, born at Frutigen. He died after 1605 at Frutigen. Descendants listed lived in the Switzerland, the United States, and Canada. Descendants in America live in Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota, Kansas, Alberta, Ontario, Idaho, Oregon and elsewhere. Descendants spell their surname Rosti and Roesti.
