Stress Power!
註釋Abstract: Stress management techniques are described for managers and the general public. These techniques cover meditation, relaxation, emotional expression, aerobic exercise, and imagery. The subjective results of applying these techniques are increased energy, productivity, creativity, and self-contentment; the objective results can be translated into decreased blood pressure, resting pulse, and body weight, and improved sleep. The first 2 sections of the text describe the characteristics of stress, tension, and distress, and their causes, the psychological make-up of the human mind and its actions under stimuli, and positive thought processes. The third section elaborates on the suggested exercises for relieving, redirecting, and eliminating stress and tension. (wz).
