註釋Thomas Roberts (1600-1673) was born in England and was one of the founding fathers of New Hampshire. He was the father of seven children. Descendants live in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. Another early Roberts family to settle in New Hampshire was George Roberts (ca. 1640-1691) and his wife, Mary Jones. They settled in Exeter and became the parents of John Roberts (1680-1750). John married Elizabeth Magoon and they settled in the Exeter area of New Hampshire. They were the parents of nine children. Descendants live in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and other parts of the United States.
