Report of a consultation held on the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary campus November 11-12, 1988 on the Church Member Profile II research project. Two theologians and five sociologists presented major papers with responses from sociologists, theologians, and historians and discussions by the participants. The purpose of the consultation was to find new creative ways of conceptualizing a second North American social survey of Mennonites and Brethren in Christ (the first was conducted in 1972).
