Fertilizer Quality and its Impacts on Technical Efficiency and Use Intensity in the North China Plain

Is the effectiveness of fertilizer overstated? How do farmers respond to uncertainty in fertilizer quality? Can they differentiate between good and poor quality fertilizer?
