註釋James Henry Hart (1825-1906) was born in Huntingdonshire, England to Thomas and Elizabeth Marriott Hart. In 1847 James joined the LDS Church in London. Between 1848 and 1854 he served as a missionary for the Church in England, the Channel Islands and France. In 1854 he and his family immigrated to America. He was appointed to the High Council in St. Louis where he remained until 1857 when he finally arrived in Utah. In 1864 he was among the pioneers sent to settle the Bear Lake Valley in what eventually became Paris, Idaho. He became one of the founders of the small town of Bloomington as well as a Church and civic leader. He served three terms in the Idaho legislature. He was the husband of three wives and the father of between thirteen and sixteen children.
