Culture and Anarchy in Ireland, 1890-1939
註釋In this book Lyons traces the outlines of four conflicting cultures which coexist in Ireland: Gaelic, English, Anglo-Irish and Ulster Protestant. He contends that their interlocking patterns form the basis of Ireland's continuing conflicts. The historical framework of the book is defined by two symbolic dates: the fall of Parnell and the death of Yeats.
