註釋The first of three volumes devoted to diagnosing breast disease, based on nearly two decades of clinical experience at the freestanding Elizabeth Wende Breast Clinic. Volume One describes the daily activities of the clinic, its management and scheduling procedures. It focuses on what happens to the patient and accompanies her as she goes through a series of diagnostic procedures. Profusely illustrated. The sections on benign diseases in the second volume and the sections on cancer in the third volume will describe the procedures for detecting breast diseases and for distinguishing benignity from malignancy.
