The first edition has completely sold out and the 2nd edition, called Legends, received the red dot award. Welcome to "Echtzeit" (Real Time). The theme of this issue is 'Staub' (Dust), a magazine in three sections. First we visit the basements of strangers, question the owners about the contents and supplies they have stored, bring to light long-buried memories and dust-covered trophies, and speculate about the durability of digital data. Section 2 paints the picture of a future in which computers have long since evolved into Smart Dust, tiny intelligent and industrious particles that are responsible for everything from household duties to world peace. Section 3 is a giant collage, fragments forming a panorama representing a permanent cycle of construction, destruction, and reconstruction. Each cover is individually screen printed on fine parchment. Music on the accompanying CD invites us to swoon and pick up the duster.
