Peter White
註釋The daybook is a daily record of business transacted during that period, such as sale of food, tobacco, liquor, hardware, timber, cloth, and household goods. The volume is also a record of money lent. Following Whites death on 8 August, 1814, the entries continue in a different hand. Among his patrons were Artemas Ward (1762-1847) and William Trowbridge (1751-1833).
