Orchestral scores and/or parts representing the ms. portion of Thomas's library including a ms. of William Henry Fry's orchestral poem A Day in the Country, a ms. score of Richard Strauss' Symphony in F minor, Op. 12, with holograph revisions sent by Strauss to Thomas pasted in, several mss. of selections from Richard Wagner's operas used in their first performances in the United States, and many of Thomas' own arrangements in ms. while conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and during the May Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio.
